About Marc Morley-Freer
His early career was working for NTL telecoms, selling cable telephony and internet services. After a successful time with NTL he moved into the fast paced world of sales recruitment with the Surrey based firm CD Sales Recruitment [www.cdsr.com]. This was his first ‘professional services’ job dealing with private clients, a vertical sector he has continued to work in all of his career. Having spent five fantastic years with the people at CD, and succumbing to a bit of a mid life crisis when he turned thirty he moved into the embryonic sector of Foreign Exchange services for private clients.
It was at this point he started working for TTT Moneycorp Ltd managing their Key partnerships and affiliate network. He managed existing partnerships and developed new business across Europe and North America. Working closely with the then booming International Property market and latterly the Emigration industry. Within three years he was overseeing five international sales offices and speaking at seminars throughout Europe and Florida, guiding Private clients through the best process of purchasing their dream homes abroad and how to eliminate Foreign Currency risk.
All to often Foreign Exchange is one of the last things private clients think about, but it has one of the biggest impacts on the affordability of the property. Along with a great agent and independent solicitor it is a must have when purchasing property overseas. Nine years on and five different roles later Marc was Commercial Director, Private Clients.
Having left Moneycorp after 9 years Marc undertook some consultancy roles with other Financial services and Property companies before joining Currencies Direct, one of the UK’s leading Private Client Foreign Exchange companies as Global Head of Private Clients.
